We used VirtualBox version 5.0.20 r106931 running on an Intel Core i3-4160 3.60 GHz Machine with 4.00 GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 as the host OS and BIOS VT-X enabled. We followed tutorial by HintDesk.com. It works.
First, create a new Virtual Machine eg MacYosemite with predefined settings for Mac OSX 10.10 (64-bit). Then, use the existing virtual hard disk "Mac OS X Yosemite Niresh Intel And AMD.vmdk" provided by HintDesk.com. Once the system is created, start it and complete the installation process. Refer the above screenshot for our VirtualBox detailed settings.

How to install Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 on VirtualBox?
Years ago I wrote a post for installing Mac OS X on VirtualBox. At that time, the version of Mac OS X was 10.7.3 Lion. The installation may not work with current version of VirtualBox anymore. Therefore, I would like to make another post for updating this hack. This time, we’ll use VirtualBox 4.3.26 for hosting Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 in Windows 8.
