Problem: The Internet Explorer only opens Bing Website and refuse to open other pages. Surprisingly, a ping check to other sites eg Google shows that it works.
Solution: In the Internet Explorer window, go to menu Tools/Internet Options. Select Advanced tab. Click the Reset button.

It took me 6 hours to find the solution and to my surprise it is actually just a click of a button!
