THE CADDIE SUPERINTENDENT

.
Caddie Superintendents are given the task of recruiting, training, nurturing and supervising a golf club’s caddies.

They must also communicate effectively with the golf professional and other golf club staff members and can have a significant influence on the extent to which the membership enjoys the game at their club.

A professionally trained, knowledgeable, and courteous group of caddies and a well managed caddie program can help a golf club deal more effectively with slow play, significantly add to the number of enjoyable rounds of golf, and enhance the golf club’s overall image of a well managed, first-class operation.

Each club will have its own set of rules and procedures for caddies to follow, so be sure to learn them quickly.

Do not be afraid to ask your Caddie Superintendent questions, not only about your service to the players, but also:

•How, when, and where to report to work and await an assignment.
•How, when, and where to go and what to do when given an assignment.
•How, when, and where you will be compensated for your work.
•How, when, and where to obtain information on college scholarships.
